SAN DIEGO – Warriors, friends, family members and caretakers from across the country come to San Diego every year for Carry Forward, a 5K aimed at raising funds for post-9/11 veterans.

Participants can walk, jog, or run on event day and amp it up by selecting one of three special ways to show support for our nation’s bravest. They can either carry a flag to show patriotism, carry a weight to represent the responsibility veterans bear, or carry another person to symbolize warriors caring for each other in times of need.
