File photo.Carrollton police are investigating the deaths of three people found dead after a fire Saturday afternoon.

Carrollton Fire Rescue responded about 4 p.m. to a call about a house fire in the 3900 block of Alto Avenue. Authorities say as firefighters put the blaze out, they found three bodies in the home. A 51-year-old woman and a 77-year-old man, had “obvious signs of trauma,” authorities said. A 53-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to the head.

Authorities determined the three were members of the same family, and evidence indicated they died before the fire spread. “Initial evidence indicates this was an isolated family incident and that there is no related threat to the area,” police said in a news release..
