.taylorswift13 will receive the Artist of the Decade award at the 2019 AMAs from a fellow mega-selling singer-songwriter
will present the award to Swift at the live broadcast from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
Following some back-and-forth, Swift has been cleared to perform a career-spanning set at the Ciara-hosted show, after her former label, Big Machine, gave her the green light to play her old songs. Whether she will do so, however, is unclear. In a statement to that didn't mention Swift by name, a representative for Big Machine said the company has "agreed to grant all licenses of their artists' performances to stream post show and for re-broadcast on mutually approved platforms.
Sunday night's show, which will air live on ABC beginning at 8 p.m. EST, is slated to feature performances from Christina Aguilera & A Great Big World, Toni Braxton, Camila Cabello, Billie Eilish, Green Day, Selena Gomez, Jonas Brothers, Kesha feat. Big Freedia, Dua Lipa, Lizzo, Post Malone feat. Travis Scott & Ozzy Osbourne, Thomas Rhett and Shania Twain.
