An 11\u002Dday strike at Carleton University is over after the union that represents teaching assistants reached a tentative agreement Thursday night.

The union is seeking pay parity with workers at the University of Ottawa and a cost of living adjustment on par with inflation. CUPE has argued that teaching assistant wages have fallen behind the cost of living in Ottawa. The contract instructors also want the same intellectual property rights as permanent instructors.
