from anonymous $20, $25, $100 and $1,000 donations. But the largest donation as of 7 a.m. Thursday appears to come from Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray. The 25-year-old football player, who went to high school nearly 10 minutes from where a gunman killed eight people, donated $15,000 on Wednesday. The fund, which is now north of $1.8 million, also saw a $10,000 donation from Emily Fung.William’s mother, Cindy Cho, 35; father Kyu Cho, 37; and little brother, James, were killed in the attack. William was injured in the attack and has since been released from the intensive care unit.
Murray, a graduate of Allen High School, did not publicly announce his donation to the Cho family’s GoFundMe page. Instead, his contribution was made public by the Arizona CardinalsIf there is anyway I can help those affected by this tragedy please let me know.On May 6, the day of the shooting, Murray called for an end to gun violence and asked his nearly 400,000 followers how he could help.
