The Arizona Cardinals have a new head coach — Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon, who helped lead his team to this year's Super Bowl.
Gannon spent the past two seasons as defensive coordinator in Philly, where he oversaw one of the NFL's stoutest defenses.
The Eagles gave up 301.5 yards per game in 2022, the second-fewest in the league behind San Francisco.The Cards' defense struggled last season, giving up 348.9 yards per game, which ranked them 21st out of the league's 32 teams.
