Three people found dead, and crashed car recovered, after group of five reported missing after night out in Cardiff on Saturday
Officers searching for three women and two men reported missing after a night out in Cardiff have found three of them dead, Gwent Police has said.The missing people were named as Sophie Russon, 20, Eve Smith, 21, Darcy Ross, 21, Rafel Jeanne, 24, and Shane Loughlin, 32.
The car they were last seen in was recovered just after midnight on Monday near the A48 in St Mellons, Cardiff. The women, who were last seen in Cardiff in the early hours of Saturday, had travelled there from Porthcawl, Bridgend, with the two men, both from Cardiff. Two have been taken to hospital with serious injuries, according to the force, while the three dead have yet to be identified.The case has been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct in line with normal procedure.
