Matheussen is also charged at a courthouse in Quebec City with sexually assaulting a person in May 2021, weeks before he abused the girl.
When the conversations turned sexual, Laflamme said, Matheussen asked the girl if she wanted to see his penis and asked her to send photos of herself, but she refused.“At one point they decided to meet,” Laflamme said.
“There were four events in all. On June 30, 2021, Mr. Matheussen went to her home. He even met the mother of the victim. The mother spoke to him for two or three minutes.” The third time Matheussen met with the girl the sexual abuse was much worse. He resumed the sexual abuse the fourth time they met. Both times it happened inside Matheussen’s car.
