Average home price in Canada to end year 4.8% lower than 2022, CREA says
Canadian home sales rose 1.4 per cent in March from February, the second straight month of higher sales, but were down 34.4 per cent on an annual basis, data from the Canadian Real Estate Association showed on Friday.
The industry group’s Home Price Index edged up 0.2 per cent on the month and was down 15.5 per cent annually, while the national average selling price was down 13.7 per cent on the year.
