Two of Canada’s largest cannabis companies released their latest quarterly reports Wednesday showing upward trends in revenue as the regulated industry continues its marketplace fight against illicit dealers.
Aurora Cannabis and High Tide both saw revenue gains compared with the same periods last year but are struggling for profits in recreational cannabis sector.
“We’re fairly confident that will get going in the next few weeks,” Khan said. “It should provide the industry an opportunity to sit down with key government decision-makers across government departments on a semiregular basis.”Fears of downward pressure on marijuana prices have been voiced in the industry, most recently by Ontario Cannabis Store head David Lobo., Lobo said while inflation is pushing prices up everywhere, the cannabis industry can’t sustain a “race to the bottom.
