The Canadian government says it's committed to supporting critical minerals projects, a key part of the economy of the future. But proponents say more action is needed to actually start mining.
Project timelines a concern
Wilkinson said the average mining project typically takes around 12 to 15 years but "that's still too long." He said the government is aiming for something more like five or six years.Mission critical: Is Canada lagging behind in the critical minerals race?
