A shooting in a trailer home in Fresno, California, on Thursday evening left an unknown number of victims, while a suspect is currently in custody.
According to the local police, a group of people gathered at the home in the area of Cedar and Clarkson avenues for a party when the shooter opened fire against attendants at around 5:30 p.m. Authorities have not yet released information around how many people were shot and what their conditions are, as they wait to inform family members. We know that victims, whose ages according to officers range between 20s and 50s, were taken to a nearby hospital.
A 22-year-old man suspected of being the shooter was arrested by police after a helicopter search found him reportedly running through a nearby orchard.that officers were still looking for the firearm used in the shooting, which they believe the suspect had discarded when he got on the run. Botti said there were a teenager and a toddler among the party attendants, but the two were luckily not injured.
