“More fees are not a solution to already ridiculously high utility bills,” the GOP leadership said in its letter and called on the CPUC to “vigorously scrutinize and ultimately reject” the proposal from SDG&E, PG&E and Edison. Nguyen said Senate Republicans will be “talking and looking internally to see what we can do to amend” AB 205. “Not all bills are final ... we change bills and we amend bills all the time. So that’s what we’re looking at on our end.”
