Ultimately, the task force recommended that qualifying residents should be paid about $3,366 for every year spent in California during that 44-year span. That means that, under the task force’s recommendations, a qualifying person who has lived in California since 1960 would receive $57,222 in reparations for the practice of redlining alone.
