Two “estranged” brothers are dead after one reportedly drove from California to Utah, shot the other dead on his doorstep, shot his brother’s wife, and set their house on fire before being gunned down by police, authorities say.

A 911 call made by an unnamed next door neighbor who heard the gunshots has also been shared. “It sounded like gunshots,” the caller says. The footage then allegedly shows Jeffrey Roberts returning to the house with a shotgun and bag. Five minutes later, Roberts can be seen talking with someone on his cellphone as a fire alarm wails. “Empty my bank accounts as quick as you can,” Roberts can be heard saying.
The footage then shows Roberts emerging from the home brandishing a 9mm handgun in a hail of gunfire, before falling forward onto the yard. Officers can be heard yelling “cease fire,” before slowly approaching Roberts.
