Calgary mayoral candidate Brad Field fined for failing to disclose campaign finances yyc

Many of those candidates did file their expenses late, with Field one of only six candidates for mayor and council whose filings do not appear on the city’s campaign disclosuresThe others include mayoral candidates Kevin J. Johnston, Sunny Singh and Will Vizor, as well as Ward 4 council candidate Shane Roberts and Ward 8 candidate Madina Kanayeva.
Those who did not file by March 11, 2022, are ineligible to run in the 2025 election. All elected candidates met the deadline.The only other fine stemming from Calgary’s 2021 civic election to date is ato Ward 13 Coun. Dan McLean for receiving “prohibited contributions” related to a Stampede breakfast giveaway his campaign hosted in 2021.
Field came in fourth in the mayoral race, behind now-Mayor Jyoti Gondek and candidates Jeromy Farkas and Jeff Davison.
