After Monday’s four byelections resulted in four blowouts, one expert is expecting more of the same in the recently announced Calgary Heritage byelection.

“The reality is that the Conservatives won with a massive margin in 2021,” said pollster Nik Nanos. “I think the expectation is for the Conservatives to hold this riding.” Prime Minister Justin Trudeau scheduled the Calgary Heritage byelection for July 24, which will be just a couple of weeks after the byelections in NDG-Westmount, Oxford, Portage-Lisgar, and Winnipeg Centre took place on Monday.
