With his team in disarray and 1-5, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft has reportedly had detailed discussions about parting ways with legendary coach Bill Belichick.
, Sports Illustrated NFL reporter Albert Breer shared that Kraft is well aware of the local criticism and the displeasure of fans. Moreover, the owner has already discussed moving on from Belichick.Asked Cowherd, “Do you believe there are discussions in New England about moving on from Bill at the end of the season?”
Answered Breer,"These discussions have taken place. I can tell you for sure, Robert hears the criticism. He hears the anger locally and people in the building know for a fact that he’s hearing the anger from the fan base.” It's a sticky situation for Kraft, in that Belichick is the beloved, future Hall-of-Fame coach who led the Patriots to six Super Bowls and is closing in on the NFL record for most all-time wins. Bill is also, however, a sub-.500 coach during his 29-year career without Tom Brady and the captain of a seemingly sinking ship that has lost eight of its last 11 games heading into Sunday's home date with the Buffalo Bills.
