The BYD Seal will be sold in Europe with an 82.5 kWh Blade battery and single and dual electric motor configurations
Sitting at the base of the Seal range in Europe is the Design version, equipped with a single electric motor at the rear wheels producing 230 kW , allowing the car to hit 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. This model also has a solid 570 km of range on the WLTP cycle. Sitting at the top of the range is the Seal Excellent-AWD with two electric motors delivering a combined 390 kW . This version needs just 3.8 seconds to hit 100 km/h and can travel 520 km on a charge.
Both variants are fitted with an 11 kW 3-phase onboard AC charger as standard and support 150 kW DC fast charging, meaning the battery can be charged from 30% to 80% in 26 minutes.. It rocks a 2,920 mm wheelbase, offering occupants plenty of room, and has a trunk with 400 liters of cargo capacity while the frunk adds another 53 liters .will start to receive the Seal in the fourth quarter of this year before customer deliveries start in November. Final prices have not yet been announced.
