B.C. Transit is making transit free for riders on April 22 in the capital region
Transit users in Greater Victoria will be able to ride the bus for free on Monday in honour of Earth Day.
The Crown corporation is aiming to have a fully electric fleet by 2040, but just who will supply those buses remains to be seen. It recently issued a request for suppliers to prequalify to supply 40-foot-long heavy-duty electric transit buses, with no immediate closing date.
