Burger King announced Monday that it has launched a plant-based breakfast sandwich, the Impossible Croissan'wich, for a limited time. The sandwich includes an Impossible Foods plant-based breakfast patty, eggs, American cheese and a croissant. Through June 30, customers can claim a free Impossible Croissan'wich during late night hours on the fast-food chain's app, while supply lasts. At other times, the sandwich costs $3.99. Burger King launched the Impossible Whopper last year. Burger King is part of the Restaurant Brands International Inc. portfolio. Restaurant Brands International stock slipped 1.4% in Monday premarket trading, and is down 12.6% for the year to date. The S&P 500 index is down nearly 6% for 2020 so far.
