Houston’s most popular burger will debut a new “steakhouse-style” burger at two notable MGM Vegas hotels.
Now Houston’s most sought-after burger is getting another shot at the national spotlight with a month-long stint in Las Vegas at a few glitzy hotel restaurants. From Nov. 6 to Dec. 3, Trill Burgers will take part in a program sponsored by Pepsi promoting Black restaurateurs around the country.
A new Trill House Burger made with a different blend of beef served with steak-cut fries will also be on the menu at Mandalay Bay’s Libertine Social and Luxor’s Public House.The classic Trill Burger, which is made with beef from 44 Farms in Texas, comes with a secret recipe for the Trill Sauce, with caramelized onions and pickles in a Martin’s potato roll.
Pham, who’s worked as a chef for more than a decade in Houston, has described the all-American burger as a combination of sweet, salty, bitter, sour and savory. Other chefs participating in Pepsi Dig In, which is party of the company’s Restaurant Royalty initiative, include New York City’s FieldTrip, Slim and Husky’s in Nashville, FoodChaser’s Kitchen in Elkin Park, Penn., and LA’s Trap Kitchen.
