Sentences for offences committed in Smithers, Houston, Burns Lake, Vanderhoof, Fort St. James and areas
- Devin Andrew Jacobs was sentenced to 732 days in jail and ordered to provide a DNA sample for robbery using a firearm prohibited from driving for three years for fleeing police and driving while disqualified under the Criminal Code and sentenced to time served for assaulting a peace officer, all committed in Fort St. James. Jacobs was in custody for 274 days prior to sentencing.
- Brent Arthur Mackerteth was fined $700 plus $105 in victim surcharges and ordered to pay $1,400 restitution for discharging a firearm in a no shooting area and unlawful possession of dead wildlife under the Wildlife Act and entering enclosed land under the Trespass Act, committed in Burns Lake. - Kevin Dean Whitecotton was sentenced to time served and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for breaching a release order, committed in Smithers.
