Guillem Gonzalez-Lomas, MD, from NYU Langone Sports Medicine Center, joins New York Post Sports anchor Brandon London to discuss the back injury that’s had New York Liberty center Nyara Sabally listed as ‘day-to-day’ on the team’s injury report since June 2nd.

Bryce Harper limped off the field after recording the final out of the Phillies’ 7-4 loss to the Marlins Thursday night at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.

While running out a ground out, Harper began limping and grabbed at his left hamstring before hobbling back to the dugout.Bryce Harper pushes for MLB to pause season for next Olympics in hopes of playing for US Gerrit Cole jokes about Juan Soto’s ‘expensive’ Yankees free agency during Dodgers game interview: ‘Delivers the goods’

“I felt my lower hammy, just a little bit,” Harper said. “We’re going to get an image tomorrow and see what that looks like. “See how I feel tomorrow and go from there.” Harper said he’s “never really had a soft-tissue injury” before. He said he felt discomfort about halfway down the first baseline.“I don’t know,” he said. “Like I said, I never felt anything like this before. It hurts.”Earlier in the day, the slugger was elected by fans to start at first base for the National League in the July 16 All-Star Game at Texas.
