“So an 18 year old kid is legally within his rights to buy multiple AR’s and a pistol online, going to kill 21 or more people.. while a woman in the states can’t even have full autonomy of her body in the US? S--- just doesn’t make sense. It’s pathetic.”

Garrett, a three-time Pro Bowler, is from Arlington, Texas. He attended Texas A&M where he was a unanimous All-American before being drafted by Cleveland No. 1 overall in 2017.

On Wednesday, the Browns had their second session of OTAs, the first open to the media. Garrett was not in attendance for the voluntary session to expand further following his post. Over the years, however, Garrett had become vocal not only on the field, but concerning political, social and other off-the-field issues he is passionate about.“If you have a problem with what I’ve said, I could not give a damn,” Garrett said.

Garrett isn’t the only major sports figure to deliver an impassioned plea for gun control following the shooting.did so in his pregame press conference before his team took on the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals. “When are we going to do something?” Kerr yelled in the viral clip. “I’m tired. I am so tired of getting up here and offering condolences to the devastated families that are out there.”
