A manhunt is under way for a suspect in the Brooklyn subway shooting that left at least 16 people injured. Schools in the area are in lockdown. Follow our live coverage.

Sunset Park resident Erik Frankel said he has been on alert in the neighborhood due to an uptick in crime. At least 16 people were injured in the shooting Tuesday morning at the 36th Street subway station in Sunset Park, according to the New York City Fire Department. Ten of the 16 injured were wounded by gunfire, according to fire officials. Five are in critical but stable condition.
