Cortland Sutton’s heard his fair share of jokes about hamstrings the past couple of weeks.
“One of my said to me, ‘I thought hamstring injuries are for fast people,’” he told The Post on Friday.
“Yeah, I think if everything goes the way we want it to go and it keeps trending in the right direction like we want it to, it’ll be nice to be able to go out there, play on Sunday and help the team,” he said. Sutton has 52 catches for 688 yards and a touchdown this season in 12 games. Jeudy has 49 for 663 and six in 12 games.
Head coach Nathaniel Hackett said earlier this week that if Sutton plays, he and Jeudy will both see time in multiple receiver roles. With Sutton out of the lineup the past two weeks, Jeudy has played the “X” spot more frequently and has 15 catches on 17 targets for 149 yards and three touchdowns.Randy Gregory is among the five players listed as questionable, though he did not see any practice time this week.
