Brits hit with warning for 70mph gale force winds and heavy rain
BRITS are being warned to prepare for 70mph gale force and heavy rain this weekend, with a yellow weather alert in place.are in place over the weekend ahead - and could remain in place for some time.Credit: Terry Harris
The north of Scotland will be hit with the worst weather in the UK - with high winds set to cause travel disruption. The Met Office warns they will bring difficult driving conditions, especially on exposed bridges, causeways and higher routes.Meanwhile forecasters say flooding is possible across parts of the south of England from groundwater for the next five days.
