really going bald from dyeing her hair so often? A bogus report in a tabloid claims that’s the case.Using the headline “Britney To Look Like A Billiard Ball,” theis reporting this week that due to too many dye jobs, the singer is destined to lose all of her hair.
The tabloid further asserts that since Spears has bounced back and forth between being a blonde and a brunette recently, her hair is on the verge of falling out for good. The story explains that in early October, the pop star was sporting brown locks and today she has gone back to her signature platinum blonde look.
The so-called insider goes on to say Spears’ hair is “a fried, tangled, knotty mess,” and “she needs to ditch the hairdryer… give her hair a nice, long condition, and pick a color and stick with it!” The publication then cites the incident in 2007 when Spears shaved her head in a moment of personal struggle as what she might look like if she keeps dyeing her hair.
The tabloid’s report, however, is flat-out wrong. For starters, it’s not medically possible to go bald from hair dye. Hair may fall out if it becomes too brittle, but the condition isn’t permanent.
