The band's frontman Brendon Urie has been updating fans with his latest creative effort, dabbling into the heavy metal world. It all started a few days ago during a Twitch stream, where the croonerThe fun continued on Thursday , when Urie hopped back on Twitch with a full track, complete with menacing vocals. He headbangs, plays air guitar and grins as he listens to the tune he made.
Urie didn't reveal if the track has a name or even if he's planning on releasing it. Back in December, however, he did tease to his interest in creating a whole metal album while discussing an expansion into different genres. “I want to do a metal project in particular,” Urie said. “I actually just played something for my bandmates recently — We have an old song called ‘The Calendar’ and I made a metal version of it from years back. It’s like 90 seconds long and is really fun.
