Officers say the BMW sedan was going eastbound on 5th Street trying to turn left onto northbound Jefferson Avenue. The driver was identified as a 49-year-old man, who turned left in front of the motorcyclist.

The Tucson Police Department responded to a deadly motorcycle crash on July 19.

A 2015 BMW sedan driver was not injured but the motorcyclist was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
