Police and paramedics have been called to Vernon Street to reports of a 'serious traffic incident'. Motorists are being urged to avoid the area while the emergency services deal with the incident. GMP Bolton North tweeted: "Please avoid the areas of Vernon St/Prince St, Bolton whilst we deal with a serious traffic incident.
