Johnson said during a forum last Sept. 21 that high test scores for all students are meaningless if the results from trans kids are included among them. “It does not matter that we’re in the top three per cent of the world. Who cares if they got 89 per cent in Chemistry 30? Who cares that they’re entering post-secondary — if they’re chemically castrated?” she said.
Johnson then made it clear that the mere presence of such students spoils the rest, using a bizarre comparison with baking cookies. “Enjoy, I only put a teaspoon of poop in them, but it doesn’t matter because it’s only a teaspoon in the whole batch,” she said.Jennifer Johnson, UCP candidate for Lacombe-Ponoka.Some calls for Smith to reject Johnson came from her own loyalists.
