Investigators say the couple didn't live at the apartment complex where the shooting occurred. They were reportedly there visiting a friend at the time.
During the start of the investigation, officers got access to some Ring camera footage that allegedly showed the victim with her boyfriend in the “breezeway of the apartment complex,” when a gun went off.
