The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force on Thursday arrested D’Lawrence Scott, 19, and his father, Lawrence Scott Jr., 56, on Thursday in connection with the death of Jerry Davis, 15, of Akron.
at a home in Akron’s Sherbondy Hill neighborhood was trying to protect a female who was involved in a fight with the accused gunman, authorities say.
Federal authorities say the younger Scott was involved in an argument just after 5:30 p.m. Tuesday with a female at a residence on the 1000 block of Biruta Street in Akron. When the argument turned physical, Davis stepped in to defend the female, authorities say.
