Shattenkirk, 34, racked up four goals and 27 points while averaging 19:18 in 75 games with the Anaheim Ducks during the 2022–23 regular season.
Per PuckPedia, Shattenkirk’s new deal with the Bruins does not feature any trade or movement protection.Shattenkirk signed with the Avalanche in 2010 after a successful three-year tenure at Boston University. He made his NHL debut with the Avs during the 2010–11 season. Shattenkirk subsequently made brief stops with the New York Rangers and Tampa Bay Lightning, winning the Stanley Cup in 2020, before joining the Ducks as a UFA.
