The congressional delegation will visit Germany, Poland, the United Arab Emirates, India and Nepal
U.S. Sen. Cory Booker is joining several of his colleagues this week on an overseas trip to discuss the Russian invasion of Ukraine, among other topics., is traveling with U.S. Sens. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., and Mark Kelly, D-Ariz., and Rep. Mondaire Jones, D-N.Y.
“This strong congressional delegation will have the opportunity to meet with U.S. military leadership and troops in Poland in order to learn how the U.S. can continue to support Ukraine and our NATO allies against Russia’s unprovoked and unwarranted war,” the lawmakers said in a statement. Other New Jersey lawmakers also have traveled overseas in response to the Ukraine crisis. Senate Foreign Relations Chair Robert Menendez was part of a bipartisan delegation that visited Australia earlier this month with Ukraine among the topics.
