The Columbus Division of Police responded to the shooting on North High Street in the overnight hours of June 23. Ten people, including two teenagers, were injured.
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Newly-released body camera video from ashows chaos unfolding as officers discover multiple victims and are led on a high-speed chase by a suspect.
As several officers run or drive in the direction of the gunshots, people point out a white Honda Civic. Officers find the car and try to stop the driver and passenger. There was confusion among officers in other cruisers pursuing the Honda as to which direction the car was headed on I-670. The vehicle was heading westbound on I-670.As the cruisers neared the Grandview Avenue exit, they lost sight of the Honda, airing “we lost him,” at 2:31 a.m.admitted to driving the HondaHe is facing a felony charge of obstructing official business with the risk of physical harm. He was arraigned in Franklin County Municipal Court two weeks ago and was given a $100,000 bond.
