Police investigating possible murder-suicide in West Side neighborhood
A man and woman, both in their 40s, were found dead inside the home in the 100 block of Enrique Avenue, said San Antonio Police Chief William McManus.
The man's brother went to the home just after 9:30 a.m. to check on the couple after not hearing from them for a few days and discovered the bodies, McManus said. The chief did not say how long the two were dead before they were found. He also did not elaborate as to why they believe the shooting was a murder-suicide, but he said the evidence inside the home pointed in that direction.
Neighbors said they believe the shooting happened Friday, but said gunshots were a common occurrance in the neighborhood.
