The Golden State Warriors are the NBA's defending champions and they've won four of the last eight NBA Finals. But the team's architect is running out this season without a new deal.
Warriors president of basketball operations Bob Myers is on an expiring deal. Myers and the team haven't been able to come to an agreement on extending his deal.Golden State owner and CEO Joe Lacob said,"We love Bob and hope he is here for a long time." Myers was originally hired as an assistant GM in 2011. In 2012, he was promoted to lead the Warriors front office. Myers overseen the additions of each member of the roster, minus Stephen Curry, who predated Myers hiring by two seasons.
