Whit Merrifield has six two-hit games this month and has spent the past two days tormenting the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Merrifield aims for another solid game Sunday afternoon when the Toronto Blue Jays look to finish a three-game sweep of the visiting Diamondbacks.
Gallen had a subpar outing and was out of the game after five innings. He gave up three runs and six hits. "No concern, it's just some mild, left low-back soreness," Toronto manager John Schneider said after Saturday's triumph. "He's taking it day by day.
