Jean-Baptiste Graftieaux replaced Julian Sawyer as Bitstamp’s new Global Chief Executive Officer.
Graftieaux has a rich experience in the field of crypto and finance, working for more than a decade at PayPal and eBay. Between 2014 and 2016, he was Bitstamp’s Chief Compliance Officer, where he was responsible for collaborating with monetary watchdogs. “We’re pleased to welcome a CEO with such an impressive track record and very much look forward to the contribution and perspective he will bring to the company in his new role,” he added.
