Billy Joe Saunders has taken to social media after Chris Eubank Jr's defeat to Liam Smith
The fight began with an intriguing opening round as Eubank Jr tried to establish his jab, but Smith started well landing the harder punches.
By the third, Eubank Jr appeared to be taking control of the contest as he nailed Smith with a series of uppercuts.Smith savaged Eubank Jr with a ruthless combination, ending with a huge left uppercut and devastating left hook which knocked him down. This was the first time in his career that he’d been floored.Smith did not give up his opportunity though and quickly downed his wounded foe again with another uppercut, prompting referee Victor Loughlin to stop the fight.
