Marquette is taking all of the attention in the Big East, and it's easy to see why. Shaka Smart took a team that wasn't ranked at the beginning of the year and led them to their first solo Big East title in program history.
The Big East has five teams safely into the NCAA tournament already, and really any of them could cut down the nets in Madison Square Garden at the end of the week.

The Musketeers finished just two games back from Maruqette in the conference standings, and pulled off season sweeps over both UConn and Providence. The team isn’t getting Zach Fremantle back as expected, however, after he needed surgery on his left foot.The top five teams in the Big East are solidly in the tournament.
