SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Summary The Big Brother season 25 Power of Veto ceremony has occurred, and, after the veto winner, Jag Bains, used it to save nominee Cory Wurtenberger, Head of Household Jared Fields nominated Cameron Hardin in his place. Cory was on the chopping block next to his showmance, America Lopez, who is still nominated for eviction. However, it's almost certain that the Big Brother 25 houseguests will vote out Cameron this week.
The Big Brother 25 live feeds revealed that Jared nominated Cameron as the replacement nominee after Jag used the Power of Veto to save Cory. Jared's original plan was to backdoor Cameron by not making him an initial nominee. However, America pulled Cameron's chip so he did have the opportunity to compete for the veto. The houseguests are currently behaving as though Cameron's eviction is a done deal.
Before the Power of Veto ceremony, Cirie told Jared that he should nominate her and send her home. This was her attempt to help Jared try to salvage his game after he was caught in many lies by the other houseguests. His heated argument with Cory exposed his deception of many of his alliance members. However, Jared told Cirie that he couldn't nominate her. It seems that Cirie has realized they're in trouble and is trying everything in her power to keep her son in the game.
During Jared's first HOH reign, he wanted to evict Cameron, but he nominated him, and Cameron won the Power of Veto and saved himself. This time, Jared didn't repeat that mistake. Jared was especially focused on Cameron because Cameron revealed that he wanted to backdoor Cirie during his HOH reign last week, not knowing that she's Jared's mom. If Cameron is evicted, he and whichever houseguest leaves during the double eviction will not be going to the jury.
