WASHINGTON—President Biden will restore protections for two national monuments in Utah and an undersea monument off New England, reversing actions taken by former President Donald Trump.
The move will restore Bears Ears and Grand Staircase Escalante monuments in Southeast Utah to more than 3 million acres put under federal protection by former presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama in the southeast corner of Utah, according to the White House.
