Meanwhile, FBI Director Christopher Wray told the Senate on Tuesday that 60% of all religion-based hate crimes in the U.S. were targeted against Jewish people, who make up about 2.4% of the population. “This is a threat that is reaching, in some way, sort of historic levels,” Wray said, adding that “The Jewish community is targeted by terrorists really across the spectrum.
