President Joe Biden says he's not going to talk about former President Donald Trump’s New York indictment. It's a broader tactic the president's administration is trying to take with news of the former president's indictment by a Manhattan grand jury.
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, speaking to reporters on Air Force One en route to Mississippi, added: “Look, we’re just not going to comment on any ongoing case, and I will just leave it there.”
because the indictment remained under seal, but they stem from payments made during the 2016 presidential campaign to silence claims of an extramarital sexual encounter. Trump has denied any wrongdoing.
