More than 400,000 illegal migrants have been flown into airports nationwide since Jan. 2023, according to documents obtained by House Republicans.
Tuesday it has obtained documents which prove Department of Homeland Security officials have flown over 400,000 illegal migrants into the U.S. since Jan. 2023.
A total of 400,000 migrants have entered the U.S. through the program with half of these individuals entering within an eight-month span from Jan. to August 2023, according to the committee. As of Oct. 2023, about 1.6 million migrants allegedly awaited travel authorization through the program. "Implementing a program that allows otherwise inadmissible aliens to fly directly into the U.S.––not for significant public benefit or urgent humanitarian reasons as the Immigration and Nationality Act mandates––has been proven an impeachable offense," Rep. Green continued.
“ is a key element of our efforts to address the unprecedented level of migration throughout our hemisphere, and other countries around the world see it as a model to tackle the challenge of increased irregular migration that they too are experiencing,” Mayorkas added.
