President Joe Biden's campaign is taking advantage of the fact that House Republicans haven't selected a speaker in 17 days.
Biden is up for reelection in 2024, and he would be 86 years old at the end a second term. Online and in press gaggles, Biden and his campaign staffers have been mocking the GOP for ousting Rep. Kevin McCarthy from the speakership without any replacement in sight.

The"Biden-Harris HQ" account on X, formerly Twitter, has been reposting clips of Republicans in"disarray." Among its posts are a clip of McCarthy claiming,"We are in a very bad position as a party," and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene saying the GOP conference"is in big trouble" as a result of not electing a speaker.
